I believe
Since we're talking about Oscar Nominees today, I thought I'd mention a couple of titles that we overlooked. Miramax will release Finding Neverland on March 22nd with an SRP of $29.99. Expect an anamorphic widescreen transfer and a Dolby Digital 5.1 track. In addition to the widescreen release, a separate full frame version will be available. I'm reluctant to even mention it, but I don't want you to pick up the wrong transfer by mistake. Supplements are expected to include a commentary, two featurettes, deleted scenes with optional commentary, outtakes, and a glimpse of the film's premiere.

Oscar nominee Annette Bening may be seen in Being Julia on March 22nd, released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The SRP will be $26.96 for this title. The anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 track will be supplemented by an audio commentary with director Istvan Szaboand, Annette Bening, and Jeremy Irons, plus a Making of Being Julia featurette, and a collection of trailers.

And now for something completely different

What, you may be asking, does the droll NBC sitcom Scrubs have to do with the Academy Awards? Well, the sitcom stars the quirky Zach Braff, who wrote and directed the delightful Garden State, which co-starred Natalie Portman in one of her most appealing performances, and she is nominated for an Academy Award as Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in Closer. Three degrees of separation, folks. Buena Vista Home Entertainment releases the first season of Scrubs on May 17th in a four-disc set. The SRP will be $49.99. Expect audio commentaries on six episodes, never-before-seen sequences, a documentary revealing the actors' histories, a gag reel, and a featurette.
