About Nothing - 3:00pm
Never has a show about nothing been so funny. The number one
most-requested TV on DVD title of all time, Seinfeld
is at last coming to DVD on November 23rd from Columbia TriStar
Home Entertainment. As the show's legion of diehard fans already
know, there was much controversy over whether the show's Emmy-winning
cast could resolve their differences (i.e., figure out how much
they were going to get paid) to contribute to a DVD release, but
the good news is that the this first three season box set will
come loaded with goodies. The first two volumes will retail for
$49.95 apiece, and Columbia will also make a special two-volume
gift set available, which also includes an episode script and
more, for $119.95. So check out the press
release (www.dvdfile.com/news/web_wire/press_release/index.html)
for the full details.
Jolly
Green Giant - 3:00pm

widescreen and recomposed 4:3 full screen versions, each with
Dolby Digital 5.1 surround tracks, plus two audio commentaries
with the filmmakers (participants TBA), the "Technical Goofs,"
"Meet Puss In Boots," "Meet the Cast Of Shrek 2"
and "The Tech Of Shrek 2" featurettes, the "Shrek's
Music Room" feature, over twenty additional interactive games
and activities, theatrical trailers, and ROM exclusives to be
announced. Retail will be $29.95, and DreamWorks will also release
the Shrek: The Story So Far four-disc sets, which
features the widescreen or full screen versions of both Shrek
and Shrek 2, plus Shrek 3-D, and a fourth bonus disc "The
Story So Far," the contents of which have yet to be revealed.
Retail will be $54.95 for the collectible box.
Kung Fu - 3:00pm

Vision, who will debut the complete The Yakuza Papers
series in five separate volumes. This acclaimed Japanese serial
(Quentin Tarantino cites it as a major influence) will celebrate
its 30th anniversary, and Home Vision will give each of the five
