Huggy Bear and the gang are back in Starsky & Hutch,
the hit remake of the 70's TV cop classic. Hitting DVD on July
20th from Warner Home Video, the disc will be released in separate
2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen and full screen versions, each with
English and French Dolby Digital 5.1 surround tracks, an audio
commentary with director Todd Phillips, the spoof documentary
"Last Look Special," "Fashion Fa Shizzle Wit Huggy
Bizzle" featurette with Snoop Dogg, deleted scenes, outtakes,
a "Vince's Bit for the Kids" easter egg and the theatrical
trailer. Retail will be $27.95.

Just in from Buena Vista Home Entertainment is their latest lineup
of new releases.
Due on June 22nd is an additional release of the recent box office
sleeper Bad Santa, entitled Badder Santa: The Unrated
Version. Featuring a new, racier cut of the film, presented
in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby 5.1, extras include deleted
scenes, outtakes and bloopers and theatrical trailers. Retail
will be $29.95.
Up next is recent animated film Teacher's Pet,
which will hit DVD a week earlier on June 15th. Presented in 1.66
anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital and DTS options, extras
include "The Art of Gary Baseman" documentary, deleted
scenes, the series' premiere episode, Disney's "Song Selection,"
a music video and trailers. Also due on the 15th is the "sexy,
stylish" comedy In the Weeds, starring the
Blair Witch Project's Joshua Leonard and Molly Ringwald. Presented
in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1, the only supplements
will be bonus trailers. Retail for each will list for $29.95.

summer Disney fun includes the teen comedy The Cheetah
Girls, due on June 29th. Presented in its original 4:3
full screen broadcast aspect ratio and Dolby 5.1, extras include
a "Behind the Spots" featurette, music video, alternate
ending and bonus trailers. Retail will cost you only $19.95.
If you are in the mood for something a little darker, then give
the little-seen thriller After Image a try on
July 13th. Starring Grammy-award winner John Mellencamp as a crime
photographer(!) on the trail of a killer, the film is presented
in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby 5.1, and also includes "the
Making of After Image" and "Portraying Death: The Art
of Special Effects Make-Up" featurettes, production notes
by director Robert Manganelli and trailers. List price will be
$29.95.
Dark Visions - 1:21pm
Rounding out today's news is the long-awaited announcement of
Chris Carter's Millennium: The Complete First Season.
This dark cult favorite will hit DVD on July 20th courtesy of
Fox Home Entertainment, complete with 4:3 full screen transfers
and Dolby 2.0 surround tracks and plenty of extras. Supplements
include audio commentaries on select episodes with Carter, directors
David Nutter and others, the featurettes "Order In Chaos:
Making Millennium Season One," "The Academy Group"
and "Main Title Design," TV spots for all 22 episodes,
and bonus trailers. Retail will be $59.95.
