Houston, You Got Served: Takin' It to the Streets
will dance its way to DVD on June 29th. A spin-off of the hit
movie You Got Served, Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment will
present the feature in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby
Digital 5.1, plus extras including the "Freestyling with
Marques Houston and Omari Grandberry," "B-Boys and Krumping
with Shane Sparks," "Ticking, Waving and Freezing"
and "In The Music" featurettes, interviews and bonus
trailers. Retail will be $26.95.
The

Returning again to terrorize our planet on July 27th are the
aliens of V: The Complete Series. Warner Home
Video will unleash this two-disc set with 4:3 full screen transfers
and Dolby Digital mono soundtracks, along the only extra is episode
info. Retail will be $39.95.
Also due for release on June 15th is the recent David Mamet thriller
Spartan, starring Val Kilmer. Presented in 2.40:1
anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround, there are
no announced extras aside from theatrical trailers. Retail will
list for $24.95.
Dirty Pictures - 4:04pm
Just in from Fox Home Entertainment is a July 29th debut for
director Bernardo Bertolucci's controversial, NC-17 rated erotic
drama The Dreamers. Fox will release separate
112-minute R-rated and 115-minute NC-17-rated cuts, each presented
in 1.85 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1. Supplements
will include audio commentary with Bertolucci, writer Gilbert
Adair and producer Jeremy Thomas, the "Events of May '68"
and "Making of 'The Dreamers'" featurettes, a music
video and theatrical trailers. Retail will be $29.95.
Fox will also release the recent "hip, sexy" indie
comedy Garage Days on July 5th. Featuring an
anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby 5.1 surround track, extras
include an audio commentary with director Alex Proyas, deleted
scenes, the "Garage Days Backstage Pass" featurette,
"Behind the Garage Door" interviews, outtakes and trailers.
List price will be $27.95.
Last but not least is the DMX thriller Never Die Alone,
which will hit DVD on July 13th. Featuring both 2.35:1 anamorphic
widescreen and 4:3 pan & scan transfers, extras include an
audio commentary with director Ernest Dickerson and actors DMX
and David Arquette, eleven deleted scenes, a featurette and trailers.
