After making about $12 at the box office, Warner Home Video will bow the Eddie Murphy bomb The Adventures of Pluto Nash on December 24th. Presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and English and French 5.1 Dolby surround, extras include deleted footage, the "Ain't No Need" music video and making-of, and the theatrical trailer. Retail is $26.95.

Rabbit ears - 12:03am

After many fits and starts and much anticipation, Disney has finally delivered retailers a March 25th street date for the 2-disc Vista Series edition of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? This Robert Zemeckis mega-hit is set to include THX-certified 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and full screen transfers, Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround tracks, an audio commentary with the filmmakers, a deleted scene, "Who Made Roger Rabbit" and "Behind the Ears: the True Story of Roger Rabbit" featurettes, "Toontown Confidential" pop-up trivia, "The Valiant Files" interactive gallery, a split-screen comparison and trailers. 'Black' celebration - 12:03am

Wanna know what the best Christmas movie ever is? It's a Wonderful Life? Miracle on 34th Street? White Christmas? I don't think so! How about Bob Clark's underrated but highly influential slasher-run-amok classic Black Christmas? Finally getting the special edition treatment by the Canadian distributor Critical Mass, the company will release a new Canadian Region 1 version on December 3rd. Previously only available in a generally lackluster full frame version, this new upgrade features a remastered 1.66:1 anamorphic widescreen, two audio commentaries with director Bob Clark and actors John Saxon and Keir Dullea, the brand-new "Black Christmas Revisited" documentary, an alternate title sequence, still gallery, the complete "Dark Dreamers" interview with Saxon (seen in excerpts only on the previous release), TV spots and a special "reversible cover" featuring the original 1974 artwork. Note that this Region 1 disc is technically not a U.S. domestic release, but should be readily available via leading Canadian online DVD retailers and play in all Region 1 players. Retail is $24.95.

Speaking of movies most horrific, would you believe a direct-to-video sequel to the already direct-to-video stinker Python? Yep, on January 21st, Fox Home Entertainment will debut Python II, featuring yet another giant rubber snake and plenty of great acting. Presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround, extras are sparse, with only a still gallery and trailers included. Retail is $34.95.

Mork on Broadway - 12:03am

Marking the megastar comedian's long-awaited return to standup comedy, Robin Williams: Live on Broadway will make its DVD debut on November 19th from Sony Music. Presented in 4:3 full frame with Dolby Digital 5.1 and PCM 2.0 stereo tracks, extras include a Williams interviewed by director Marty Callner and the "Backstage Before The Broadcast Noises" featurette. Retail is $19.95.

Also streeting on November 19th is Korn Live, featuring 16 of the band's biggest hits. Presented in full screen and Dolby Digital 5.1 and PCM 2.0 stereo, extras include multi-angles on select tracks, behind the scenes footage and a discography. Retail is $24.95.
