BURBANK, Calif., January 7, 2002 - On March 12, consumers will watch Gene Hackman and Danny DeVito stretch the limits of trust and loyalty in the suspense thriller Heist available from Warner Home Video (WHV) on VHS and DVD, priced at $19.96 SRP for VHS and $24.98 SRP on DVD.

Gene Hackman (Behind Enemy Lines, Crimson Tide, Unforgiven) plays a master thief forced into one last questionable job by a greedy stolen goods dealer, played by Danny DeVito (L.A. Confidential, Man on the Moon) in this hot caper full of action, suspense and "endlessly clever plotting."

Heist also stars Delroy Lindo (The One, Gone in 60 Seconds), Rebecca Pidgeon (State and Main, The Winslow Boy) and Sam Rockwell (The Green Mile, Galaxy Quest) and is written and directed by Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet (Hannibal, Wag the Dog, State and Main, The Untouchables).

The Heist DVD will be presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio and 16x9 widescreen format and includes the original theatrical trailer, cast/crew highlights, languages in English and French (dubbed in Quebec) as well as English, French and Spanish subtitles. Heist is rated "R" (language and some violence) and has a running time of 109 minutes.
