DVD Debut of Dozens of Highly Requested
Family, Comedy and Action/Adventure Favorites!

Exciting New Movie Showcase!

BURBANK, Calif. -- April 15, 2002 -- Allowing families and movie lovers of all ages to own and enjoy many of the most beloved live-action comedy, drama, family and adventure catalog hits on DVD, beginning April 2, Buena Vista Home Entertainment (BVHE), a division of The Walt Disney Company (DIS), launches the exciting new "Movie Showcase'' DVD line.

This expansive new collection makes many of the studio's most acclaimed, action-packed and star-filled catalog favorites available for the first time ever on DVD, priced to own. It is the largest catalog slate of DVD releases by BVHE ever. The on-going promotion will kick off with this month's debut DVD releases including the stylish smash hit DICK TRACY; Bette Midler and Danny DeVito in the hilarious RUTHLESS PEOPLE, the star-studded THREE MEN & A BABY; favorite TURNER & HOOCH; inspiring family drama ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD, and many more. The expansive slate of regular monthly DVD debuts will continue throughout 2002, with more than 100 collectible new titles becoming available by year end, including DOWN AND OUT IN BEVERLY HILLS; BEACHES; HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS; THE JOY LUCK CLUB; HOCUS POCUS; BIG BUSINESS; ALIVE; and MUPPET TREASURE ISLAND.
