We’ve got three new reviews for you today: Jim finds himself impressed with the production value, but less so with the film of the independently produced The Entrance. I hope you’ve been enjoying Mike’s DVD reviews of the Criterion “Children’s Films” collection, because today he offers his thoughts on White Mane (his previous reviews of The Red Balloon and Paddle To The Sea are still visible on the left menu, so be sure to check those out if you haven’t already). I’ve found that now that I’ve started to enjoy more and more movies on 1080p media, my penchant for buying standard definition DVDs has dropped off sharply and is now reserved for only premiere titles, but these three Criterion children’s discs will be added to my collection with haste based on Mike’s recommendation. Mike also shares his thoughts on the third and last volume of The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones. More coming Friday... Enjoy!
